This imaginary landscape was created from a marker drawing in my sketchbook. I liked the composition and wanted to create a reductive print based on this drawing. The print uses a single block of shina plywood that is carved and printed multiple times until completion. It took several impressions to develop the gradations in the sky and in the foreground. This print is a limited edition of sixteen and comes mounted on archival mat board with photo corners.
